Rule #1: Always Use a Mesh Laundry Bag
If machine washing, always hook your bra clasps and place delicate bralettes inside a fine mesh washing bag. This prevents straps and lace trims from snagging on zippers or buttons of other garments.
Rule #2: Cold Water & Gentle Detergent
Hot water degrades Lycra and spandex elasticity rapidly. Wash in cool or lukewarm water (under 30°C) with a mild liquid detergent. Avoid harsh fabric softeners, which coat fibers and reduce breathability.
Rule #3: Air Dry Flat — Never Tumble Dry
High dryer heat is the number one destroyer of bra foam and fine lace. After washing, reshape molded cups with your hands and lay garments flat on a clean towel or hang by the center gore to dry in the shade.
